The arch is the flagship of our headless tambourine family: an ergonomic ABS frame with no drumhead at all — just a sixteen-bell stainless jingle set carried on a shell shaped to sit in small hands. There is no skin to tear, no tuning to drift and nothing to replace; the instrument is the jingle voice of the percussion section in its most durable form. Model 020013, the NEW! shape in the family, ships in black as shown, with multiple colors available on request.

Why Headless Sells in Classrooms
Buyers who have replaced torn tambourine heads every school year ask the same question: what happens if there is no head? Three answers, all of them commercial:
- Nothing to tear. No skin, no composite film, no tension ring — the failure mode that ends most tambourines does not exist in this design. For rental fleets and shared classroom sets, that is the difference between an annual consumable and a multi-year asset.
- Built for the grip. The arch is shaped around how a child actually holds a tambourine: fingers wrap the waist, thumb finds the ridge, wrist shake does the work. The factory spec calls it an easy, comfortable grip — and it is the detail teachers notice first.
- Stacks and stores flat. The ABS frames nest into each other, so a class set of thirty stores in the space of ten. No shelf sag, no heads pressing against each other in the cupboard.
The trade-off is honest: there is no drum voice. Where a programme needs tone as well as shimmer, pair the set with a hand drum from the same factory — the high-grade beech hand drum in four sizes or the standard kids’ hand drum.
Four Shapes, One Idea: Choosing Within the Family
| 020013 · arch | 255 × 190 × 45 mm · 16 bells · the NEW! flagship — most bells, easy grip, black as shown |
| 020031 group · oval | 270 × 185 × 40 mm · 7 bells · solid, light and sturdy construction, four colors — see the oval page |
| 020041 group · semi-circular | 135 × 110 × 28 mm · 4 bells · the smallest — one-hand size for the youngest players, six colors — see the semi-circular page |
| 020051 group · bat | 280 × 130 × 46 mm · 12 bells · beech wooden handle, shake-and-strike, six colors — see the bat page |
All four shapes run on the same ABS-and-stainless platform, so a mixed order arrives as one product family with one parts list.

Product Positioning
The arch is the flagship of a four-shape headless family — oval (020031 / 020035 / 020038 / 020039), semi-circular (020041–020047) and bat with wooden handle (020051 / 020052 / 020054 / 020055 / 020056 / 020058) — each on its own page with its own size and bell count. Where a programme needs tone as well as shimmer, the headed tambourine lines are the complement: the high-grade beech and birch-and-leather families run on separate production lines, so headed and headless models can be ordered together as one shipment.
It shares the production line with our own consumer brand Musicube — the same instrument family already selling on the US retail market under the Musicube name.
Quality & Manufacturing
The shell is moulded in durable ABS and the sixteen-bell stainless set is mounted and checked as a complete frame before packing — each bell seated, each retaining pin closed, the grip zone inspected for flash. Because there is no head, there is no tensioning step and nothing to drift in transit. Where applicable, product testing and compliance documentation are reviewed according to the target market and agreed product requirements — tell us your destination market and we will confirm what applies to your order.

OEM / ODM: Make It Yours
Once the instrument is proven, the next question is how it starts carrying your brand:
- Logo: print on the shell or the bell mounting plate, from low trial quantities.
- Colors: black is the standard as shown — the factory spec sheet lists multiple colors available, and volume orders can match your Pantone on the ABS shell.
- Bell count: sixteen as standard; the oval (7) and bat (12) shapes cover lighter and mid-density programmes on the same platform.
- Packaging: the full-color box takes your artwork natively — no sleeve needed.
- Set building: mixed shapes and colors in one carton for classroom kits, barcoded per SKU.
- Documentation: where applicable, product testing and compliance documentation are reviewed according to the target market and agreed product requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why choose a headless tambourine over a standard one?
A: There is no head to tear, tune or replace, and the ABS frame wipes clean and nests for storage. It is the maintenance-free jingle voice for classrooms and rental fleets. The trade-off is that it carries no drum tone — where a programme needs both, pair it with a hand drum from the same factory.
Q: Which shape suits which age group?
A: The semi-circular (135 mm) is the one-hand size for the youngest players; the oval and arch are the classroom standards; the bat with its wooden handle suits older players who shake and strike. All four share the same ABS-and-stainless platform, so a mixed order ships as one family.
Q: Are other colors available?
A: The factory spec sheet lists multiple colors available for this model; black is the standard shown in our photography. Color range and minimums are confirmed on your quotation — we do not publish color codes we cannot yet guarantee.
Q: What is the MOQ for OEM orders?
A: MOQ and carton configuration depend on your customization level and destination market — they are confirmed on your quotation rather than a fixed published number. Send your quantity and target market for a costed proposal within 24 hours.
