Educational Product Suppliers & Retailers
RoyalSound supplies children’s musical instruments to educational product suppliers, toy and teaching-aid channels, retailers and e-commerce sellers — as single SKUs, as coordinated sets or as private-label lines.
The question this page answers is not how children play the instruments, but whether a given product fits your sales channel: the right price band, the right packaging, the right paperwork and the right SKU structure. That is what we help buyers work through.
Deciding What Fits Your Channel
Single SKUs to test a listing
Small trial batches let you put a product in front of your buyers before committing to a range.
Sets that sell as one unit
Percussion sets, rhythm sets and classroom packs are assembled and labelled as a single retail SKU rather than sold part by part.
Packaging that survives the channel
Retail boxes and shelf-ready display packs suit physical retail; compact shipping cartons suit e-commerce fulfilment.
Certification your buyers ask for
Children’s instruments are a regulated category, so listings and channels normally require safety documentation on file.
Product Combinations
Categories that work individually or can be combined into a channel-appropriate mix:
| Percussion & rhythm | Tambourines, hand drums, egg shakers, rhythm sticks, triangles, wrist bells and rhythm sets — strong as value sets and as single units |
| Melodic | Diatonic and chromatic xylophones and glockenspiels, in soprano, alto and bass — the classic education-channel range |
| Wind & keyboard | School recorders, melodicas and kids pianos |
| Specialty | Ukuleles, harmonicas, kids accordions and steel tongue drums — useful for gifting, seasonal lines and wider age appeal |
| Storage & accessories | Totes, wall-hanging bags, carts, mallets and spare parts — natural add-on lines with repeat purchase |
Retail Packaging Options
- Colour box or sleeve — standard retail presentation with your artwork and product information
- Shelf-ready display pack — counter or shelf display that does not need repacking in store
- Set packaging — a tote, case or cart packed and presented as one multi-piece retail unit
- E-commerce friendly packing — compact cartons and protective packing for parcel networks
Final packaging specifications are confirmed before quotation and production. See Retail-Ready Packaging & Kitting
Product Labelling
Labels are usually where a channel requirement bites: barcode format, country of origin, age marking, warning text and language versions. We can apply and print to your specification:
| Retail barcodes | EAN, UPC or your own internal codes applied to the retail unit |
| Carton markings | Shipping marks, per-destination carton labels and mixed-carton identification |
| Product information | Age marking, material and origin information, and multi-language text where required |
| Compliance labelling | CE marking and the safety warnings your destination market requires |
Sets and SKU Structure
A set only works commercially if it is a clean SKU. We assemble instrument combinations, count and check the contents, then label the unit with your code — so a set can be listed, priced, re-ordered and returned like any other product in your range. Sets can be defined by piece count, by age band or by price point, and the bill of contents is kept on file for re-orders.
Private-Label Options
Where volume supports it, products can carry your own brand instead of ours: printed logos, your packaging artwork, your label artwork and your own SKU numbering. For buyers testing the private-label route, the usual starting point is one product with your branding before extending the brand across a range.
Purchasing Requirements
| Buyer | Starting quantity | Typical documents |
|---|---|---|
| E-commerce seller | From 100 pcs to test a listing | Listing-ready photos, certified product datasheet |
| Retailer / channel supplier | Mixed container from 800 pcs | Conformity documents, barcode sheet, batch QC report |
Starting quantities are a basis for discussion. Final SKU structure, packaging and pricing are confirmed on the quotation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can we start with a small trial order before committing to a range?
A: Yes. Trial quantities exist precisely so a product can be tested in your channel before you commit to a range. Tell us the quantity you want to test with and we will confirm what is possible for the model.
Q: Can the products carry our own brand and barcodes?
A: Yes, where volume and print allow. Products can carry your branding, your packaging artwork and your own barcode and SKU numbering, so the range is yours in the channel.
Q: What safety documents come with a children’s instrument?
A: Safety documentation appropriate to your market — EN 71 for the EU, ASTM F963 and CPSIA for the US, GB 6675 for China — plus REACH restricted-substance documentation and batch test reports per production lot.
Q: Can you supply product photos and specification data for our listings?
A: Yes. Specification data is supplied as standard, and product photography can be provided with the order. Tell us the listing format you need to fill and we will confirm what we can supply.
