The denser stainless models complete the high-grade beech tambourine family: the 10″ with 16 stainless steel bells (011006) and the 12″ with 20 stainless steel bells (011206) — the same beech plywood shell, the same 55 mm frame, PU paint and hide-feel composite head as the standard 6″/8″/10″ line, built with denser jingle sets for buyers who want more cut at larger diameters. Both models are shown together in the product photograph, stacked as they ship.

Denser Jingles, Larger Frames

Two questions decide this pair: does the room need more tambourine, and does the player need a bigger frame?

  • 16 bells on the 10″ (011006). The standard 10″ carries eight; this set carries sixteen, mounted two per position in stainless cup jingles. The shimmer sustains through a full bar — the choice for large classrooms, worship bands and stage work where six or eight bells thin out under a room.
  • 20 bells on the 12″ (011206). The largest frame we build in this family: a 315 mm shell with a twenty-bell set for ensemble and outdoor use, where projection and sustain decide.
  • One shell design. Both models share the beech plywood frame, PU paint, chamfered bearing edge, finger hole and composite head with the rest of the high-grade line — a mixed 6″/8″/10″/12″ order arrives as one instrument family.

For a warmer voice in a denser layout, the same shell is built as the 8″ with 12 brass bells (010810 / 010811); for a leather-look head, see the birch tambourine line (010605 / 010805 / 011007).

One Family, Two Large Sizes: The Ladder

011006 · 10″ 265 mm · 16 stainless steel bells · the dense-jingle size for larger classrooms and stage use
011206 · 12″ 315 mm · 20 stainless steel bells · the largest frame in the family — ensemble and outdoor projection

Both share the 55 mm frame and the same black binding ring, so the pair nests visually with the 6″ and 8″ models on the same shelf strip.

Product Positioning

These are the density models of the high-grade beech family, sitting beside the standard 6″/8″/10″ set (010601 / 010801 / 011001) and the 8″ twelve-brass-bell model (010810 / 010811). All four diameters share one shell design, one head spec and one finish, so a programme can standardise on the family and still offer every player the right amount of tambourine. For the leather-look alternative, the birch line (010605 / 010805 / 011007) runs on the same production platform.

It shares the production line with our own consumer brand Musicube — the same instrument family already selling on the US retail market under the Musicube name.

Quality & Manufacturing

The shell is built from sturdy laminated beech plywood with a chamfered bearing edge and finished in PU paint; the composite head is tensioned and bound in the same workshop. Denser bell sets are seated and pitch-checked as complete pairs before packing, so the two-per-position mounting arrives even in volume and timbre. Where applicable, product testing and compliance documentation are reviewed according to the target market and agreed product requirements — tell us your destination market and we will confirm what applies to your order.

OEM / ODM: Make It Yours

Once the instrument is proven, the next question is how it starts carrying your brand:

  • Logo: print on the head or the shell, from low trial quantities.
  • Bell set: stainless as standard; brass sets in the same dense layout on request — see the 8″ twelve-brass-bell model.
  • Colors: natural beech is the default — volume orders can match your Pantone on the head binding or the shell.
  • Packaging: the full-color box takes your artwork natively — no sleeve needed.
  • Set building: mixed 6″/8″/10″/12″ cartons for classroom kits, barcoded per SKU.
  • Documentation: where applicable, product testing and compliance documentation are reviewed according to the target market and agreed product requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Ten or twelve inches — which denser model should we stock?

A: The 10″ (011006) is the volume mover: sixteen bells on the frame most classrooms already use. The 12″ (011206) is the specialist — ensemble, outdoor and worship programmes that need the largest frame and the fullest wash. Most programmes start with the 10″ and add the 12″ per order.

Q: How are the bells mounted at this density?

A: The factory spec is a denser set — sixteen bells on the 10″ and twenty on the 12″, mounted two per position so the row stays even and the wash stays balanced across the frame.

Q: Do these models run with brass bells too?

A: Brass in a dense layout is currently offered on the 8″ model (010810 / 010811, twelve brass bells). Stainless is the standard bell metal for the 10″ and 12″ denser sets; brass alternatives at these diameters can be discussed on your quotation.

Q: What is the MOQ for OEM orders?

A: MOQ and carton configuration depend on your customization level and destination market — they are confirmed on your quotation rather than a fixed published number. Send your quantity and target market for a costed proposal within 24 hours.
