Product updates, company news, and buying guides for brands, retailers and schools sourcing kids musical instruments.
Royalsound designs and manufactures kids musical instruments in Huai’an, China. This page is where procurement managers and distributors find product updates, certification changes and trade-show dates. Current as of 2026.
What’s new at Royalsound?
We have reworked our percussion range. The metallophones and glockenspiels in the 0508 and 0513 series now ship with beechwood frames and standardised diatonic bars across the board. Why that matters to you: the same spare-part logic runs from the soprano all the way up to the alto instrument.
Three 30-inch beginner guitars have also joined the catalogue (183001, 183002, 183005). All three share one body and differ only in finish and fittings. Buyers who order small runs in mixed colours cut their stocking costs, because accessories and replacement strings fit all three variants and inventory collapses onto a single SKU.
Which certifications are currently valid?
Our test reports for EN 71 and ASTM F963 were renewed in 2026. Both cover the full percussion and keyboard line. CPSIA and CPC are on file as well. For EU shipments we provide the technical file and the declaration of conformity as PDFs on request.
One practical note: a test report is a document with an expiry date, not a permanent pass. If your team is planning a purchase order for Q1 2027, tell us when you send the inquiry. We will line the test cycle up with your delivery date so the certificates are still valid on the day the goods ship and customs has nothing to query.
Where can you meet us in person?
We exhibit at the major toy fairs in Europe and Asia. For 2026 we plan to attend Spielwarenmesse in Nuremberg and the Canton Fair in Guangzhou. We publish exact stand numbers about six weeks before each show opens.
A trade fair is the cheapest way to inspect material and build quality for yourself — a catalogue photo never shows the fretboard of a guitar the way it actually looks under a loupe. If you want a fixed slot, book it in advance through the inquiry form. Samples of the products you care about will be waiting at the stand.
What is changing on lead times?
Production times are steady: samples in 10 to 15 days after design confirmation, bulk production in 25 to 45 days after deposit. The recent bottlenecks were mostly in ocean freight. We recommend starting the booking at least three weeks before your target date.
For rush orders we offer air freight. It makes sense on smaller volumes, but costs considerably more per kilogram. We lay both options side by side so you can decide for yourself.
How do you stay up to date?
The inquiry form and your direct contact are the fastest routes. If you would like product news on a regular basis, send us a short note and we will add you to the catalogue-update list.
