OEM & ODM Musical Instrument Manufacturing

From your idea to a certified product — transparent, factory-direct OEM/ODM.

Factory-direct OEM and ODM for brands, retailers, distributors and schools. Bring us a specification — or just a market opportunity — and we come back with a costed proposal within 24 hours. We run private-label programs for global brands and retail chains, and we run them exactly the same way for a first-time buyer.

OEM or ODM — Pick Your Starting Point

OEM

You bring the specification

Send a model, a physical sample or a spec sheet — or pick one of our proven platforms. We build it to your specification, under your brand, with your certification file.

  • Fastest route to market: existing tooling, no development risk
  • Right choice when you already know your range and price point
  • Your logo on the instrument, the accessories and the box

ODM

You bring the opportunity

Bring a price point, an age group or a gap in your range. Our design office engineers the product, tunes it, and you take exclusivity on the design through contract.

  • Exclusive models your competitors cannot buy
  • Right choice when you have the market but not the engineering
  • IP protection and exclusivity windows written into the agreement

What We Customize

Logo & Branding

Imprint, laser engraving or in-mold branding on the instrument, the accessories and the packaging.

Packaging

Brown export carton, full-colour retail box, gift box or storage case — with your barcode and warning panels.

Colour & Material

Custom Pantone-matched finishes and FSC-certified wood options to match your existing range.

Function & Tuning

Key count, pitch range, scale and features tuned to your curriculum or retail concept — checked note by note.

Certification in Your Name

EN 71, ASTM F963, CPSIA and REACH batch test reports issued under your brand, not ours.

Documents & Languages

Manuals, songbooks, inserts and warning text printed in the languages your market actually requires.

How a Project Moves

Step 1

Inquiry

Send the model or the market gap, your target market, age group and expected volume. You get feasibility, material options and a first cost estimate within 24 hours.

Step 2

Quotation & Spec Freeze

MOQ, unit price, lead time, packaging and payment terms confirmed in writing before anything is built. No hidden costs.

Step 3

Sampling & Prototype

Samples in 10–15 days on standard platforms, including your logo. We iterate on tuning, finish and packaging until it matches your brief — sample cost is credited against the bulk order.

Step 4

Mass Production

25–45 days after deposit. Batch-level QC with a pitch check on every tuned instrument, plus third-party testing where your market requires it.

Step 5

Shipment, Documents & Re-orders

FOB Ningbo/Shanghai, CIF or EXW — DDP available for the EU and US. We handle freight, export paperwork and marketplace-ready carton labelling, and we keep your specification on file so the second order needs no new sampling.

Inside the Factory

There is no trading company between your purchase order and the production line. Every instrument is cut, tuned, painted, assembled and packed on our own lines, which is what makes custom work — and honest lead times — possible.

Certification & Compliance

Children’s instruments are a regulated category, so the paperwork comes before the price. Factory side: ISO 14001 environmental management, a BSCI-audited workforce and FSC chain-of-custody timber. Product side: EN 71-1/-2/-3 for the EU, ASTM F963 and CPSIA for the US, GB 6675 for China, and REACH Annex XVII for restricted substances. Batch reports are issued under your brand — the compliance file is yours to hand to your own customers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is your MOQ?

A: 200 pieces per item as a standard, and mixed-model containers are normal for us — so a first order can cover four or five models instead of one. Lower trial quantities are possible on existing platforms; tell us your target and we will say honestly what works.

Q: Do you charge for samples?

A: Samples are billed at cost and credited back against the bulk order. Standard-platform samples with your logo ship in 10–15 days; a fully new ODM prototype takes longer because the tooling is built first.

Q: Who owns the tooling and the design?

A: On OEM builds from our existing platforms there is usually no new tooling at all. Where a program needs dedicated tooling or an exclusive design, ownership and exclusivity terms are written into the contract in your favour — and we do not resell exclusive designs.

Q: Whose name appears on the test reports and certificates?

A: Yours. EN 71, ASTM F963, CPSIA and REACH batch reports are issued under your brand, so your marketplace listing, your retail customer and your own market surveillance file all stand on your own documents.

Q: Can you handle shipping and export paperwork?

A: Yes — FOB Ningbo/Shanghai as standard, with CIF, EXW and DDP available. We produce the commercial invoice, packing list, conformity certificates and, for Amazon sellers, FBA-compliant carton labelling and FNSKU barcodes.

Q: How fast can the second order ship?

A: Faster than the first, because your specification, packaging dielines, test reports and colour standards stay on file. Re-orders normally skip sampling entirely and go straight to production.
